Let the Games Begin!

Alright, here's the deal:

  • Post a comment with a title suggestion.
  • In two weeks (March 2, 2010), I will pick my favorite title.
  • In exchange for all rights to said title, you will receive a free bag of Starbucks coffee.
Many thanks to my baby brother, barista extraordinaire, for being willing to fork over one week's worth of company perks.

  1. I LOVE your current title. In fact, I've been a bit jealous of the cleverness of it. But if you're going to insist on changing, I think you already came up with a great name on your own in your blog post: Real Life, Real Faith. It's simple, it says what you're about...meets your criterion beautifully, IMO!

  2. Actually, now that I think about it, I think "Real Faith, Real Life" flows better and says it more along the lines of your post regarding your faith vs. Bryan's...faith comes first, life just naturally follows.

  3. LIVING OUT LOUD - AFter coming up with this idea, I turned on the radio and Steven Curtis Chapman was singing the words, "live out loud" ...coincidence? I think not!!

That is exactly what you are doing in your blog, living your life, reflecting on it and how your faith is revealed, how it grows, and how it is strengthened in every day living. Then you tell us about it, thus "living out loud".

  4. My dearest Tamara,
I will admit I have not read everything you've posted, but what I have read, I've enjoyed. I'm also very pleased and proud of your courage and talent. My first suggestion for a new name came to me from a very clever and delightful niece of mine. It's "Barefoot Mud Painter"!
    More to follow.

  6. Dear Tamara,
Yesterday I brainstormed for new names which resulted in the following list of foder for thought:
    >"Bold face God trusting, public confessions of an imperfect human"
    >"Trust Love"
    >"Sucking chest wound of joy and hope" (you could also substitute love and/or faith)
    >"PDA's for Jesus"
    >"Naked truth clothed (robed) in faith"
    >"Normally flawed, importantly saved"
Then I came up with one I actually liked:
    >"Christianity meets reality"
    Love,
    UG

  8. Love some of Uncle George's ideas! Barefoot Mud Painter is exceptionally funny, and I definitely like the like the last three ideas in his second post.

Tamara - another of my thoughts:
The View from My Room (or from where I sit)

gyoga has some good ideas too! Good luck with your decision. Some many great choices... and the things people have come up with show you what your blog conveys to them... interesting.
